Gah, today has not been

Gah, today has not been my day at all.

I have the pms brain fuzzies and have been really tired (over and above the normal tired). This afternoon we had an appointment with our new doctor, to meet him, as well as get Emma her 12 month needle. Anyway, after figuring out where to go exactly (in the slushy snow, I might add), waiting in the room for a good 45 minutes, he tells me that doctors don’t do that anymore, the public health office does. I wish the receptionist had told me that on the phone when I mentioned it, or gee, maybe when I mentiond it *again* when I got there! But mother says it wasn’t a total waste fo time because I had to meet him anyway so he could say he did see us.

He also thought Emma was pale, so is sending her for some blood work. (roll eyes) Another appointment at the hospital for a quick finger jab and then see him again. He couldn’t wiegh her either, since by that time she wasn’t rady for me to let her go, and sure wasn’t in the mood to let him try anything.

A qiuck trip around an unfamiliar gorcery store which didn’t have everything I wanted, and I was ready to beat up any potential muggers. Just with my stare.

breathe in, breathe out

Survivor finale is on tonight, and since the vcr is wonky, I’m not going to see if it would record right at this crucial moment. Late night for the kids, it is. I picked up stuff to make pizza, a mega bag of chips and some pop for the celebration. I also threatened them. The kids, not the contestants. If they want to watch it, they should lift a finger around here.

Boy, I am in a royal mood, aren’t I?

Anyway, things should be getting back to the regular chaos of normal around here, which means you, my lucky readers, get to visit more often for new content. I have some doozies in store for you, even a request to tell the world about some rather important events coming up…
