Well, it’s anniversary month. Yes, we are on our way to our 12th anniversary. Andrea thought it would be nice to put up an anniversary post everyday of the month (the way some folks do during birthday month). So, I (Ron) am starting off the month. What Andrea and I have tried to do every morning is have a stand up hug. Cuddle time in bed before we get up does not count. And it really doesn’t qualify as having been done unless it lasts at least a minute and we have had them last as long as 5 (tough day). There are times when we can’t because we were physically separated for the entire day. On the mornings I manage to get out of the house before Emma wakes up we have it when I get back. Or if for some reason we only get a chance for a real quick one in the morning, we usually stop as soon as it is convenient and have it. Our days never seem to go right if we forget that little part of our day. Its quite amazing in how it helps us have perspective in ‘getting along’ during the rest of the day. And if it strikes either of us throughout the day, we repeat if necessary.
