reusablog – everything old is new again
This one specially for Bea.
So yesterday we went on a field trip with Lisa and Carol and a dozen of other families. Well, in the one classroom (science lab), it seemed like there were twice as many people! The school was also empty as they had the day off for some reason.
Lisa was feeling really crappy so I volunteered to stay until the bitter end. (may as well have, most of the other parents thought that I was in charge for some reason
) We had a great time, but were getting a little bored by the time the last family left. And ONE child even turned on the safety shower in the science lab. *sigh* NOT one of mine, or they would have been DEAD. Mine helped stop the water running and I cleaned it up.
After that we went to Learn Tec over at the college and I ogled the projects that Ron’s students were doing. Super cool games, folks. He is teaching some talented folks. Hmmm… maybe they are talented because of their teacher?
Emma was a big crank by the time we got home. Scratch that. She was a big crank halfway through. Ron was an awesome dad/husband and ran around looking after her while I chatted.
Then later that night while chatting, I mentioned that it would be neat to make a pvc pipe quilt frame, like the one I got mom for Christmas. So we went to the hardware store, right then, and picked up most of the pieces! Even though Ron didn’t whip it up last night, I think I have a big enough sewing pile that I need to spend a large chunk of time in front of my machine today.
Got a field trip today. Did groceries last night and ran the the bank (30 mins away) yesterday afternoon to sign papers which took all of five minutes. Tonight Ron picks up his motercycle. We have to look after my Mom’s cats this weekend. I deleted over 300 messages from Outlook yesterday.
I also have to eat right, excercise, dress nice, bathe, keep the house clean, cook meals, teach the kids, write emails, sew, quilt, make cinnamon rolls, dig in the garden, change diapers, watch Survivor tonight, go to a huge yard sale this weekend, and love my husband.
But you know I’ll find some time to surf half my blogroll.
Those flowers of the week are looking mighty droopy; I think I’ll update that picture to see if it helps get me new ones sooner.
uh-oh. I’m getting a redesign itch again. I’m also thinking of setting up a sewing, quilting and pattern-making section on the site. Anyone interested?
