“What is a sloper?” you ask. Well, it is a very basic pattern used to figure out a person exact fittings. Then you can use it to adjust (or make new) patterns that fit you exactly, every time.
I used Amy’s measurements to draw up two variation, and I have cut them out of firmly woven fabric (and old sheet scrap). They are almost sewn together. I’ll mail them off to her, and she will try them on (inside out), pick the one that fits best and make any needed adjustments. Which hopefully will be slight. It should fit like a second skin. Then when she sends them back, I can whip her up a couple of patterns that will fit her better than anything off the rack.
It’s not terribly hard, it just involves math and stuff.
