I have some ideas, partly jogged again by reading yet more message board posts from inexperienced and indoctrinated-to-the-system parents wondering and bemoaning how on earth (and what on earth) they should be teaching their child.
Until I get my own thoughts lined up in a row, you can read an article that had me nodding along, over here with the author of “And the skylark sings with me.” The part I really enjoyed was here.
