Open up the windows

It’s been dreary the past couple of days, both weather-wise and mood wise. Today I feel somewhat better and the sun is shining. We don’t get sick often, but when we do, it usually knocks out the whole house, one by one, and takes us a month to go through it.

So I threw up the sashes on the bedroom windows, I stripped off the blankets and the sheets to let the matress air. I swept the floor and found a new spot for Emma’s bed so we don’t have to step over her to get clothes out of our dresser. I still have to dust in there, it’s bad.

A nice clean bedroom, some cool fresh sheets to crawl in between later, and sunshine everywhere. Yeah, that’ll do it.

I’m also in a mood to pare down most of our belongings, tossing all kinds of things out. It’s almost yard sale season you know, and I think I’d rather have money in my pocket to go to the homeschool conference at the end of the month.

(I’ll have more to say about *that* later.)

I know what you mean about being sick. We literally had at least one person sick, getting sick or getting better from being sick in our household from Novemeber through February. Ack. It was a long winter. I blame it on the one year old who had to touch and taste everything roflol.

    Feel better soon!
