Not Resolutions

No really, it’s just a to-do list, just things I want to accomplish this year. heck, this month, then it’ll be a habit, right?

I know, I say this every year. So here we go:

– excercise every day (and did I wait till now to post this so I could say I did today already?)
– drink more water
– eat less of the stuff that is bad for me but tastes oh-so-good and resides on my butt. (note lack of the word “diet”)
– keep house neat. It’s clean. I want it to stay that way.
– get schoolwork organized
– in short, line up all my ducks in a row.

Yeah, so this makes me less interesting in the short run, and my mom is probably snorting with laughter, but there you have it.


  1. OK … when you find out HOW to accomplish all of those things ~ I’ll be here waiting for the advice (while I sit here eating cookies in my messy house with my Nordic Track collecting dust)

  2. My 7 year old asked me the other day (and yes, it was on NYDay), “Mom, will you start exercising more?”

    “Because I’m fat?” I replied.

    “Yeah. . .”

    He had asked me a few days before why I was so fat. . . Gotta love the honesty and straightforwardness of 7 year olds. Definitely didn’t take offense though. He’s a sweetie. . .
