Sunday dinner menu – my turn

Celery, carrots sticks and dip for an appetizer.
Roasted chicken

roasted potatoes –

peel & chop or slice a couple pounds of spuds. Rinse & dry. place in large shallow oiled pan and toss with more oil. bake @ 450 or so for 30 mins.

Squash – with just a tablespoon of molasses mashed in (Yes we still have fresh squash)

Cauliflower with cheese sauce –

1 TBSP flour melted for 40 seconds with 1 TBSP butter or margarine, gently stir in a cup of milk a bit at a time, nuke again for 99 seconds, stir, nuke 60 seconds, stir more nuke again if it need to thicken more, add 1 cup grated cheese, stir in, nuke to thicken if needed.

Fresh warm homemade chocolate-chip cookies for dessert.

    I like your family dinners. Here was ours on Sunday; pizza. But I was sick. I think I would dig family coming over every other Sunday to eat. Enjoy those moments! I’m still waiting for a live podcast of the dinner event!
