Homeschooling Article

Should Children Be “Witnesses” in Public School? over at Guilt-Free Homeschooling. I especially love this part:

– if someone is to find personal salvation through Jesus Christ, it will probably not take place during third period history.

And I agree with her totally – children should not be expected to witness in public school, or anywhere else for that matter. They’re children. Let them be kids.

That’s an interesting article, and I’d have to agree with most of what is said. I am a anti-religious person as an adult, mostly because of how much it was pushed on me as a child/teenager. So, go figure..lol.

I also loved this article and it has solidified my own thoughts on this subject.

I was raised in an Evangelical household… but we were never pushed to witness to anyone at school… I remember how I met a Jehovah’s Witness girl in my grade 7 class who was pressured to witness by her parents…it really affected our friendship. (in a bad way)
