Just now over lunch, we’ve covered Patronization 101 and Sarcasm: Raising it to a higher art form, for advanced users. This denegrated into comparing IQ test scores and grading the family on a curve, and arguing over how much of a genious we each are.
All that stemming from me opening my mouth to explaining to the children my pat answer to people asking thing like, How can I possibly teach my kids things I don’t know?
Answer: Easy, they already think they are smarter than I am.
And all that with at least one foot in my mouth. Such talent.
