15

Today my oldest daughter turns fifteen. I need to put a brick on her head, she’s getting taller than I am and creeping up on her father. Remember when she was born? So cute, so HUGE. Nine pounds, four ounces of screaming wailing baby. I don’t think she stopped screeching for six months.

Eh, it was all worth it. ;)

Sarah's haircut after.

laissez-faire Sarah

Her birthday haul has so far included money, CD gift cards and lip gloss. What more could she want? She’s so smart, too. She belongs to an arty graphic community online and someone there gave her a one month subscription for her birthday. You can see one of her recent artistic efforts here.

Yeah I remember how big she was. As I held her for the first time in the Chalmers Hospital, I told her she was going to be a rugby player…how wrong can a person be!
    Nice haircut!

Wow, happy b-day to your daughter. What I want to know is, do they still sit on your lap occasionally or do you gradually have to admit they are too darn big and your legs are about to cave in?
