We’re winding up the holiday food-prep. I’m gonna need stretch pants. The menu for Christmas Eve is, of course, Chinese food – homemade. Won ton soup, sweet and sour chicken balls, shrimp balls, spring rolls, fried rice. And that’s just what *I’m* making. Mom said something about pork loin, shrimp fries, stir fried veggies and who knows what else. Wish you all were here.
Here’s a little holiday wish from Emma. Jingle Bells (188k 12 seconds- please right click on the link and chose “save as…”).
Yeah, really wish you were here now. If I don’t post any more, I’ll be back on Boxing Day if I survive. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah.

Sounds wonderful! We’re not planning any special Christmas celebration (obvious to those who know us) but the idea of cooking and eating a big meal sounds really good right now. Either that or maybe we just head for Chinatown like in A Christmas Story
Anyway, Andrea – I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and the best of New Years. “See” you after the holidays.
Aw, Emma, what a wonderful little singer you are!
Ron and Andrea – have a blessed Christmas!
Todd — Fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra.
Yum! I wish I was there too!
Merry Christmas to you and the whole family!
Love the Jingle Bells – very cute; there’s a star-a-risin in Miramichi. Thought I would take this break from the Christmas activities to get caught-up on the blogs. Hope you enjoyed the Chinese food the other night – sounded pretty darn good when you were describing it.
Hope the whole fam is having a very Merry Christmas and enjoy the 30cm of snow we will be getting tomorrow
Best wishes to all!
