Earlier this afternoon, there was a knock on our door.
“Hi! Sorry, I hope you don’t mind, I was driving by and – my mom lives up the road and we’re visiting from Nova Scotia – anyway I just *love* the paint job on your house! Would you mind me asking what colors you used?”
So of course we invited her in, made sure she had pen and paper, and told her the main green was a wood stain, Canadian Hemlock, available from Home Hardware, and the other two colors were from the same store’s Historical Collection. I had the paint chips for them still stuck to the bulletin board. The cream is Secord, HC38 and the burgundy is Papineau HC02.
