Last-minute jitters? Not me.

So my mom called me on the phone, and the conversation went something like this:

Mom: “Okay, so I finally found those stockings at 6:30 this morning. They were in the closet! In the vaccuum bags! Can you believe it? Anyway, I got some presents wrapped for under the tree. Make sure the girls don’t fight about them. I didn’t put the bows on so they wouldn’t get squished, so those are seperate. I dug out that quilt you wanted and I tossed in the wall hanging, just in case you have a bare spot you need to fill. Oh, and I also found some other things like a couple placemats and I picked you up something else from Avon, just a little thing and call Carl and let him know you’re up and he’ll bring the stuff over and are you *sure* you don’t need me to take Emma or make you supper and… wait a minute, are you rolling your eyes at me?”

Me: “Hang on Mom, I have to pick something up off the floor…”

And then Carl dropped the stuff off and inside the little thing she got me was the most cutest thing ever – An Elf Clothesline, with all the little elf suits and accessories pegged to a cord, so I had to totally take back the eyes rolling right out of my head and across the floor.

I love the elf clothesline. Hope the house tour thing goes okay (it is tomorrow, isn’t it?). And that loads of people fall in love with your house and are just SOOOOO pleased when they see it is on the market in January. ;-)
