I’ve spent the bulk of the past few days in bed, mostly sleeping or dozing. I had a severe headache that lasted from Thursday night until this morning. All this lounging around is not near as much fun as it sounds. At any rate, Ron has been taking good care of me and insisting I just lay there and not try to work on through, as I had been doing before he got back home. That totally wasn’t working. I can’t just shake this off. Who knew?
Anyway. We’ve been watching plenty of movies on tv, and in one, a guy in a tuxedo proposed to a girl in a fancy dress. Emma turned to me and asked, “Why is she marrying a rent-a-cop?”
I had to explain the difference between a security guard uniform and a tuxedo. Fun times.
Emma has also made me 4 get well cards, six pictures, a heart flower bouquet from pipe cleaners plus assorted bugs from same, and she even made me heart shaped toast – with help. It’s good to be loved.
It’s also good to have teenagers.
Emma also appropriated the camera one day and filled the card with pictures and video.
