But I thought you guys liked what I had for lunch…
I’ve been reading the book, No One Cares What You Had for Lunch: 100 Ideas for Your Blog
by Margaret Mason. I found it at the library, on the New Books shelf, which is always.. skimpy shall we say, so I was pleasantly surprised.
I really like this book. No, I really really like it. I even have it on my wish list so I can BUY it now. (or some kind soul can buy it for me.) Funny, full of good ideas or new spins on things I’ve done. Plus there’s the added bonus of the author making my blog list for me.
This is the kind of book I can put on the shelf and flip through every few months or so. I mean, I’ve had this blog for seven years. That’s like, forever in internet terms.
Dang it. These people who are far more organized than I am, writing books and stuff that I could have but didn’t.
Oh right, I was busy raising the kids….
Anyway, if you’re into blogging, it’s a nice book to have on the shelf.

I’d prefer to read what you had for lunch than a lot of the stuff that people blog about. I’m not reading political blogs any more. So what else am i going to read except blogs by real people talking about their real lives which includes the mundane as well as the spectacular? It’s better than the 102,238th discourse about Britney!

Too true, that. I was a bit tongue in cheek in my title.
Also? I’m having sausage rolls. (sorry!)

All well and good, but what ever happened to the Sunday Dinners? What did you cook? What did Mam bring? How did the vegetarians fare?
How’s your health? Are you feeling all better now?

Yeah, but are you adding fiber to those sausage rolls somehow? Okay, that book does sound pretty good. I bet my library is much skimpier than yours, but I will look for it since you recommend it so highly!

I really wanted to get a hold of that book. Our library is pathetic so I doubt they’ll ever get it.
