Emma brings the lawls

At least through all this, we have Emma to keep us entertained. Some recent nuggets of Emma goodness and wisdom:

- The Boys and Girls club in Miramichi get a small cottage built every year and sell tickets on it. Winner moves it from the mall parking lot to a location of their choice. While my mom had us out one night, we stopped by it and discussed what a perfect size it is for her and Carl to have on their country property they will retire to. Then mom asked Emma what she thought. “Why would anyone want to live in a parking lot?” was her first question.

- Emma loves Kraft Dinner. Sometimes we get Easy Mac because, well, it’s easier and there’s no leftovers – plus it’s something she will actually EAT. Yesterday, Emma asked for some. “I love Easy Mac. It’s just like Kraft Dinner, only different!”

- Also, she’s been reading things almost unconciously. We were all tired and worn out from recent adventures (and seven hours of driving and waiting) and Emma was all ready to play Cranium. “But it’s says on the box it’s a family fun game, so that means the whole family has to play it!”

I guess that last one is one of the drawbacks of reading. You then have to really engage with that stuff. Glad she is keeping your spirits up.
