So, it’s finally official; the green house is up for sale. (How long did that take? A year and a half?)
They held an open house yesterday and the word was it was busy. Someone has been to see it a couple of times already, combing over every single thing, trying to decide if it is for them or not.
I know how they feel.
I also know my readers like snooping and Lord knows you probably haven’t seen enough of the inside yet, so here’s the listing for our house. Prepare to drool.
(I already know it’s cheaper than the bathrooms of 75% of my readers and the insane real estate prices where they live. )

If only we were Canadian… What a beautiful home! And I bet the red house is going to be even more gorgeous once you’re done with it!

Wow - you’re not kidding! That *is* gorgeous. And the price? You *might* get a 1 BR condo in a bad neighbourhood/building for that price here. Without the land here I’d expect you’d have to pay at least $750K-$1M here. With the land, you’re probably looking at more than that and in the Bridle Path neighbourhood (just down the street from Prince, I expect)
Good luck with the sale - it looks wonderful!

I just had to look at the price. That’s amazing. But I suppose the red house was in about the same market.

We were prepared to spend more than your asking price on one that needed totally rehabbed. If only it wouldn’t be such a long commute for Don

Oh. My. God! That’s it. Forget Alaska. I am SO moving to Canada.
Why is it so cheap there? Are there like, jobs there? I am in a very cheap area of the US and you would get at least twice that much for your house here, maybe thrice! (I love that word, thrice. Sounds so classy.) But prices here are relatively low because there are no decent jobs (hence the dh in Alaska).
