My mom was out in public recently. She does that sometimes. This time, she was at one of many Christmas craft sales & teas she goes to. There’s easily a dozen every week. This time, she was out with her friend and they were looking at the goodies and talking about getting ready for the holidays and how they decorate.
“Oh, it easy,” says my mom, “You just toss a bunch of ornaments in a bowl and bring Baby Jesus up from the basement.”
Apparently the lady at the next table overheard and snorted with laughter. Word has it, mom uttered this in a church.
