Goals; not resolutions

The only resolution I ever kept was from a few years ago, when I decided to not make resolutions. Yeah sure, that’s funny – but it’s true.

If I have to lose weight and it’s September, why wait?

If I want to start a new project, be a better person, improve in some way – well why not now?

For me personally, I have a few new things coming down the wire in the new year, but it’s not *because* it’s a new year. These thing were coming along anyway, and have to be done. They’re on my To Do list. :) Some had to be deferred because it was time to gear up for the holidays, and some are taking longer than I think they should because there isn’t a 36 hour day.

On top of all that, I’m still pretty tired. Tired sleepy, not tired brain fuzzy, so that’s a bonus. I think.

Most of it you’ll hear about eventually, but not in a list format. Things fluctuate too often for me to be doing that. :)

But still – I’m glad 2007 has been kicked to the curb. It was a rough year. In 2008 we’ll be headed in all kinds of new and somewhat revisted directions.

Now if only I can stop long enough to blog it.
