The only resolution I ever kept was from a few years ago, when I decided to not make resolutions. Yeah sure, that’s funny – but it’s true.
If I have to lose weight and it’s September, why wait?
If I want to start a new project, be a better person, improve in some way – well why not now?
For me personally, I have a few new things coming down the wire in the new year, but it’s not *because* it’s a new year. These thing were coming along anyway, and have to be done. They’re on my To Do list.
Some had to be deferred because it was time to gear up for the holidays, and some are taking longer than I think they should because there isn’t a 36 hour day.
On top of all that, I’m still pretty tired. Tired sleepy, not tired brain fuzzy, so that’s a bonus. I think.
Most of it you’ll hear about eventually, but not in a list format. Things fluctuate too often for me to be doing that.
But still – I’m glad 2007 has been kicked to the curb. It was a rough year. In 2008 we’ll be headed in all kinds of new and somewhat revisted directions.
Now if only I can stop long enough to blog it.

I absolutely agree with this sentiment!
