This is Bobby. Bobby came to live with us last weekend.
Bobby is a result of taking Emma (and the others) out for a wee bit of shopping, where we did not aim for the Dollar Store for a treat, but bumped it up a notch. This is what happens sometimes.
Now Bobby has made friends with Mr Bones and the Visible Woman. Sometimes I find Bobby and his parts in odd places, but mostly I’m just glad the CSI team has not stopped by.
Emma tells me that Visible woman and Mr Bones are an item, and in fact the parents of Bobby, but Bobby himself looks at us haughtily out of his one good eye, and Visible Woman already has a plastic fetus to take care of.
Yeah, I know. We ARE weird.

Oh! We have Mr Bones and the Visible Woman, though she and her plastic fetus are still in the box. And Mr bones had an accident and broke his clavicle. We definitely need a Bobby. All we have right now are his brain and heart.
We are weird, too.
Reminds me of that joke about Stephen King where he is supposed to have said “I have the mind of a child. I keep it in a jar on my desk.”
Some things don’t change:
We had the Visible Man when I was growing up.
Bobby’s twin who also donated his body to science came to live with us last year too. There’s nothing like a human puzzle to teach the organs. I’ve always wanted the invisible horse….but the kids could not care less about that horse.
I’ve got another one of Bobby’s brothers *grin* Yep, I homeschool too – ha!
