Two-fer
I took the suggestion from Heidi in the comments and did indeed pull a two-in-one shot. First, my hair. GAH. Maybe we’ll move on. At least we cannot see the grey. We shan’t speak of it either, ‘kay?
Allrighty then. LOOKIT MY NEW FREEZER. Isn’t it shiny and white? And so, so empty. Actually, I noticed there was a block of shortening in there getting very cold. You know what that means? Pies. Meaghan pies.
Y’all should be way jealous.
Grocery day is on Thursday. Methinks this is gonna hurt a bit.
Coming up: I extoll the virtues of my new dryer. It is even more awesome and fabulous than the freezer. Seriously, I have to stop typing now and post or I’m just going to go on and on about it.

Yay! I would be excited about a new freezer too. Or any freezer, for that matter.
And I won’t say anything about your hair, because I hate it when I can’t stand my hair and someone says it looks good.

Since Christmas, the freezer half of our side-by-side has been wonky. Sometimes temps down to zero (-18 C) but later that day it could be up to 48 F (8 C). At least we didn’t have meat, just Boca & Morningside products.
No discernible pattern. Could be this, could be that? Repair or buy new? This repair guy or that one? With the kitchen layout, we’re rather locked to a unit only 32.5″ wide (89 cm). It came down to a variation on the current model or smaller cubic storage. We opted for the circuit card replacement. Nearly a week now and still good. Ice cream is as it should be.
So hooray for the deep freeze, a key part of a purposeful, frugal lifestyle. (I’ve been re-reading Tightwad Gazette lately.)
Your hair looks fine. Just not your usual look. But a fine look.

I’m jealous. We actually had a freezer last summer. It was an old cast off from the inlaws. It was actually too big so we never filled it even a quarter of the way so we finally ditched it. Our next power bill was a pleasant reflection of that. I still want a small freezer though.

I like the hair! BTW, I just read somewhere that it conserves energy if your freezer is full. Time to get some peas from the supermart.

The only thing I dislike about having short hair is the frequent need for haircuts. I see I’m not the only one
And congratulations on the freezer! Will you write a poem for it, as well?
