Wow – you have even more than we do here in Quebec City. Still, I find myself wondering how long all of the snowbanks are going to stick around even after it gets warm. At the moment I feel as if we’ll be seeing snowbanks until sometime in August.

(Parenthetically not sure if it is me or you but the preview is giving me ‘undefined’ instead of showing me what I’m typing now as it usually does.

  2. Yeah, it’s really slow in coming. We’ll finally hit the 70s tomorrow. :-)

  3. BTW, I’ve started all my seeds for the garden this week. We’ll have a few frosts through March, so they won’t go into the ground until Good Friday. Around here, the farmers swear by it.

Eek! I hope spring comes soon too. Ian Black was on the radio the other day and he said the official meteoroligical term for the weather this week is “Blech!”. Luckily he meant here (Ottawa) and you’re far from here.

BTW, did your weather person say anything of any likeness to our weather forecast?

Do we need folks like Dan telling us they can plant on Good Friday, even in a year when Easter is early? Around here it is the 24th of May long weekend. And down where you are I bet it is even later…

Your photos are great. And I notice that you have white cabinets in the kitchen. This is a good thing. With some new paint on the wall (and ceiling), I bet the kitchen will be much nicer even if you aren’t going to fix the crown molding for a while.

    Wow. That just looks cold.

Tigger just made me laugh with the “Blech” term for the weather. It’s pretty accurate and yet more polite than what *I* usually call the weather lately. :D

    That is beautiful!

In the CA foothils (where my garden is missing me, I’m sure) folks swear by a Mother’s Day planting – anything before that and you risk replanting because of frost. ‘Course, I’m the anxious sort and always push it – and occasionally have to replant.
