Somehow my sleep-deprived mind though ron’s plane would arrive at the time it was supposed to. Not early or anything. Not like when it took off 15 mintues early… Emma and I got there this morning and Daddy was waiting for us. Funny enough, while I was driving there and on the one hill that over looks across the fields to the other landing strip hill, Emma said she could see a plane. I told her it was too early to be daddy.
It wasn’t.
No pics of the landing.

The other day Emma tried to put on one of her favorite tshirts. It has a baby white tiger and the Siegfried and Roy logo.
But it didn’t fit and she wailed. Meaghan and I brilliantly told her we could turn it into a pillow, which she wanted to do right that minute, and then I assured my Mean Mommy Status by saying no, she could not use the quilt batting I just bought.
When we went to Global (used clothing store) yesterday, lo and behold they had bags of stuffing cheap. Something I almost never see there.
Last night I got her to dig out needles and thread and much fun was had as I tried to thread the needle while on the phone in front of the computer with a headache and not a lot of sleep under my belt. It was a lot like watching a sobriety test.
I strongly encouraged her to sew it together herself, but I did help a little.
(I’m completely glossing over a couple of fits here too.)
now she has a cuddly pillow just her size. She says it is great for when you’re really upset and mad and you just want to SQUEEEEEEEEEZE something.

So one of the reasons you homeschool is because you aren’t good in the morning. And yet … The advantage of living in the city is that they have taxis. These are very useful for getting to airports at half-past-ungodly especially when it is a business trip. Sleep deprivation is a really bad thing. You need a nap. The pillow idea sounds great.
