New shoes, yay!
I got new sneakers yesterday, because the new ones I got a month ago hurt my feet under heavy use. Yes, I should have figured that out when I picked them up.
Anyway! Ron & I hunted down a Payless, because we usually have luck there, and not only did I find the world’s most comfortable pair of walking sneakers, when we got the the checkout, the clerk informed me they were HALF OFF.

Those are some snazzy half-off shoes! Let me know how they feel a few days from now. I need new walkers (heh)… and my feet are very testy when it comes to shoes

We saw those when shopping for shoes for Tigger recently. She decided to go for the Airwalk canvas ones with the stars. My kid wears a size 6. Crazy. I wish hers had been half off.
But comfortable shoes are SOOOO important. Glad you found some.

That’s where I get my walking shoes, too — I have an older generation Champion white-and-light blue cross-trainer. They’re SO much comfier than the Asics I had before that (and they only cost about a third, so I don’t feel like I have to baby ‘em).
But slip-on, you say? I might have to update.

I have problems with shoes. I can wear them in the store, even walk around in them for half an hour in the store. But it is only when I leave the store that I am able to see if they will be comfortable.
So I can totally get how you could buy a pair of shoes that are not comfortable.
