And like every other election day, Ron and I loked at one another and said “Who we voting for?”
This time we took Sarah, got her sworn in and she voted too.
This might all seem exciting on some level (or not) but the reality is we’ll probably wake up tomorrow morning and have another minority government. *sigh*
What waste of money.
Edit: Thought I should mention for the non-Canadians, that unlike in the States, we don’t vote for who we want to be PM. We vote for the local representative of the party we want to be in power. The party leader with the most ridings gets to be Prime Minister.






So in a way, we really do vote for our PM, but in a screwed up way (seen through all the “Jack Layton” signs). But hey, that makes 300+ more people to say something stupid, right?
