Sounds like a great day. And I have that trouble sleeping thing, too, though more if the time is really early (like 5 a.m. to catch some stupidly early flight or something). Historic villages are also a big hit with Tigger. And I’ve recently worked out that Upper Canada Village is approximately halfway between Ottawa and Utica (where Rose is) so maybe next year we’ll have a blogger meet-up…

Sounds like a ton of fun! We have an old single room school house that lets kids come in once a year to do a day of school like it was. It’s so much fun, I still remember the sourdough bread and metal buckets from when I was a kid. Everyone should find something like that to go to.
