Seriously, you’d think with all this in common we’d have nothing to talk about, but nope.

By “legions of fans”, you know I mean family plus the dozen or so regulars, right?

We went to Fredericton today, so Meaghan could see her older siblings for her birthday, and to see Addison for his birthday. (whew! yes, it’s an all birthday extravaganza. But not really.) Sarah showed up more art and we went to Deluxe to share a fish & chip platter before lunch so we wouldn’t fall over from lack of food or get low blood sugar crankies. Then we went to Fabricville where I spent less than 4 dollars. A quick stop at the dollar store, then we could see Addison & Kaytlyn at his place over his lunch hour. A trip back UP the hill to a clothing store that didn’t have any shirts Meaghan wanted, down the hill to pick up Sarah;s stuff from school, drop her back at her place, and then the long drive home with the sun in my eyes the whole way.

I did clue in the put the visor over to the side window, but every time I put it back in front of me, I leaned over and my hand on the steering wheel went with me. Those quick dives onto the shoulder woke me right back up tho.

And I’m annoyed at ebay buyers. I sold a small pile of stuff, answered a HECK of a lot of questions about shipping (yes, I’ll combine) and then after they won, I sent combined shipping charges, no payment. I sent a reminder. No payment.

If it was one person, that would make sense, but out of 4 buyers, two have neglected to pay after a week. Both for multiple items. One won two auctions, the other won 4.

I may have to threaten them with neutral or even negative feedback.

But! I sold an item on etsy! I was pretty happy ’bout that.

Yeah, that did the trick.

It was a new pedestal sink for the bathroom! It’s a joint gift for the both of us. his birthday is in two and a half weeks. And YAY! We got to start ripping apart the upstairs bathroom! the sink up there is *nasty* with who know what on it that now amount of scrubbing or harsh chemicals would remove. And actually, a part of the enamel had been removed so that tells you how bad it is.

Then we got to moving thing and Ron took down the fake wainscoting, partly to see what’s behind it, partly because it;s ugly, and we’ll have to touch up the plaster a bit too. And then we realized that we should paint the wall before we put the sink in.

And then we  had to decide on what color to paint the bathroom. Oh, and the floor.

Ron is currently napping. For some reason he has a headache.

That’s because tomorrow I’ll be 39, so it will be a whole year’s worth of weekly self-portraits. How very artsy fo me, huh?

last night, Emma and Sarah wen to see monsters vs. Aliens at the movie theater (it was ladies night – all girl tickets $6) and Meaghan and I went to get the groceries. We were able to linger over the housewares department.

Sarah is all done working at both places, and when she told Emma she was now unemployed and going to be home all day, Emma said, “AWESOME!”

This afternoon, I am heading over to a neighbor’s house to show her how to turn on her computer. She never let s thought go unspoken so this should be interesting. And it’s was eerily foggy this morning, and so overcast in white the lighting is awesome so I will walk down and take my camera for some cool shots on the way. (speaking of being artsy)

Workwise I have some new and slightly different stff on the horizon. Not sure if I’m allowed to say, but it’s kinda big I guess. It’s cool and interesting though. And a bunch of projects are finishing up (finally!) so I can get to work on my own stuff and get more sites lauchend. Very cool things happening.

I have messy handwriting.

But at least I was a cute kid.

Emma says I look a lot like her. I could write a blog post about each snapshot there, I think.

I think I look cute in old pictures, but there’s not a lot of recent pics of me. I tried to find high school pics of me and there’s not a lot either. I am generally unsatisfied with pictures of myself, I think. they look different than just me looking at me in a mirror. At least to me they do.

I also have to get a passport and get a picture taken for that. This will be my third passport, and I have a history of.. uh.. shall we say “unique” passport shots. So bad, I shall dig them out and post them on the internet for everyone to laugh at. Doesn’t help that I’m also unhappy with my hair. It’s so bad, Ron suggested I wear a hat. “Great,” I said, “Then I’ll look like a dork. In a HAT.” Long-term readers will remember I look really bad in hats. Really really bad.

I realize this is All About Me and all, but… this is my blog. Where else am I gonna talk about me? On Thursday, it will be the TENTH anniversary of my blog. I have been writing about my life for Ten. Whole. Years.

Astounding! And? I put it on the internet, where other people *read it*.

I also realized that my kids have some, most or all of their lives documented – which is good because their baby books are empty (I never even bought one for Meaghan, poor thing). So I thought that maybe occasionally I should also fill in the blanks.

For today, you can take away a few things: I take bad passport pics. I look terrible in hats. I start writing an entry about one thing and wind up at another.

The end.

But then? Then the next morning, in the foggy half-light of dawn, I was awakened by gunshots. And my first thought was to make sure the zombies could not get in the house.

I hate adrenalin rushes before caffeination.

(Note: the gunshots were from some hunter, presumably near the lake because it echoed very well, who seemed like he had trouble hitting the broad side of a barn.)

Anyway! Ron & I hunted down a Payless, because we usually have luck there, and not only did I find the world’s most comfortable pair of walking sneakers, when we got the the checkout, the clerk informed me they were HALF OFF.
