Reading & Finished

Allconsuming (what I used to use for my book list) is down and somewhat out, and was spotty at the best of times. Until I figure out what I want to do with my reading lists, here’s a recap:

Since Christmas or so:
Cooking Up Trouble (Angie Amalfi Mysteries) by Joanne Pence
Hummingbird Soup by Parry, Withrow
The Lost Continent: Travels in Small-Town America by Bill Bryson
and some Nora Lofts double feature.
Do Lord Remember Me : A Novel by Julius Lester
Murder at Teatime by Stephanie Matteson
Lady’s Choice by Jayne Ann Krentz
Eats, Shoots & Leaves by Lynne Truss

And skimmed thru -
Fall on your knees by Ann-Marie Macdonald
Stuffed: Adventures of a Restaurant Family by Patricica Volk
The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith
The Underacheiving school by John Holt
Candles on Bay Street by K C Mckinnon
Pigs in Heaven by Barbara Kingslover

Plus recently:
Bergdorf Blondes by Plum Sykes
The Icing on the Corpse by Mary Jane Maffini
Blood Orchid by Stuart Woods
Visions of Sugar Plums: A Stephanie Plum Holiday Novel by Janet Evanovich
Cooking Up Murder by Claudia Bishop

More books I took back to John’s without writing down.
Some books I re-read, plus whatever I finished right before AllConsuming went down. (At least two Isaac Asimov & Douglas Adams books.)

Next to the bed:
Mothman Prophecies by John A. Keel
Metro Girl by Janet Evanovich
The Time Traveller’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (yes, as good as they say)
Automatic Millionaire by David Bach (I wanna know what to do *after* I’ve cut out buying fancy coffee – or any coffee. Tell me, Dave. I’m still mystified. We’re down to bare bones here.)
Pure Fiction by Julie Highmore
Biting the Dust: The Joys of Housework by Margaret Horsfield. Now this one is really good, and I’m just 6 pages in.

Plus some magazines I got for my birthday (thanks Mom – paper crafts & writing) and Reader’s Digest, stories for Emma, the newspaper once a week (it;s all I can stand) and online stuff. Sarah got a few books out of the library I want to read, too.

Yeah. I read lots. You should see what I read when there’s nothing to read. :) Right now I think I have just enough to do me a month.

What are you reading?
