It was November 27, 1995 and I was staring in the mirror wondering if I had finally lost my mind. My marriage of 16 years had ended in divorce a year earlier. And that day, at the age of 42 I was going on a blind date for the first time in my life. My friend Tom, had arranged for me to have lunch with a friend of his, in return for introducing Tom to his now wife Lorna.
The only way I would go on a blind date with Tom’s friend was if Tom and Lorna joined us. I joined Tom, Lorna and his old buddy Carl for lunch at Don CHerry’s Grapevine restaurant. And the rest as they say is history.
Carl and I married 8 years later on September 6, 2003. To celebrate our 7th anniversary, my DH and I went for a drive in the country, stopped for an ice cream, came home and had a nap. The perfect way to celebrate the day.
(crap, I forgot!)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Happy anniversary! Sounds like you had the perfect day.

Now I remember!
