Thursday night, there was an adventure.

My friend (I’m not sure if ‘friend’ or ‘acquaintance’ is the appropriate word here, I call everyone by the name friend.) Marie wanted to go buy a game from a guy. This game was on the north side. See, in the city I live in.. It’s a nice city, but the north side is ‘the sketchy end of town.’ So, she asked me and Mike to go along, and we managed to convince Mike because then it’d be an adventure. So we drove over and got the game. After that, we decided we should go find something else to do.. so we went to Wal-Mart, which is open until the late hour of midnight. Obviously we went to the games section first. Then I wanted to look at craft stuff, which was obviously exciting. We also checked out the Christmas stuff, which was hilarious because they had those stuffed animals that talk.. One of them was one where you were supposed to record a message, so Mike recorded “TONIGHT. YOU.” in a creepy voice (if you’ve heard of Hand Banana from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, you will know what I’m talking about.. If not, don’t ask.) which was hilarious, because then it was like.. What if some old lady buys it and doesn’t erase it and gives it to her grandchild? There was also a lady in the same section who was apparently very amused by us.

Anyways, so as Marie was going to pay, there was a rack of Woman’s summer shoes on sale for fifty cents. So I tried on this pair of high heel sandals and was all, oh, haha, what if I bought them. I didn’t because I didn’t have 50 cents on me. As we were leaving, I said that I wouldn’t be able to walk in them anyways. So then Mike starts saying “Oh, if you’d bought them I would have tried them on, heels can’t be that hard to walk in, etc etc”

Yeah, so we went back in and bought them. FIFTY CENTS. And they’re pretty nice. Marie and I were trying to convince Mike to try them on in the store, but he said no.. But he’d try them on in the parking lot if I bought a pair.

So, Mike put them on and managed to walk in them! He actually didn’t do too bad of a job and it was pretty impressive. He also kept bragging because it apparently was not that hard to walk in heels, so his point was made. They also didn’t look terrible, he wore them quite well. Marie also got some pictures, though those obviously will never be published to the internet… cough cough.

Anyways, that was the adventure! I don’t know how we got from video games to Mike walking around in heels, but hey.

Oh, I don’t wanna know

Apparently I haven’t updated in 11 days.. Wow, I started forgetting to update this regularly sooner than I though. Since I started the last post with some music, I will also post music in this one.

This song has been on repeat for a bit, I originally heard him.. I can’t remember where, somewhere on the internet. This song was played at the end of the last House episode, which I just watched yesterday, so that’s been on repeat since then. Today in class we had a project that involved music, and someone in my class picked this song for their project and since then it’s been stuck in my head.

Anyways! What I’ve been up to. I had classes all this week and last week, and I can’t remember anything particularly special happening. Mam and Carl came up for a visit on Tuesday, so me, them, Addison and Kaytlyn all went out for supper and that was pretty fun. For the rest of the week, I had no school on Wednesday because of remembrance day. I also recall hanging out with Kaytlyn as well as my friend Mike at some point in there. Apparently I’m doing pretty good in graphics, at least on the project we were working on, so I’m pleased with that. For the weekend, I worked quite late both Friday and Saturday. My Aunt Glenda came up for a visit on Saturday, which was short but enjoyable! I’m now pretty excited for Christmas, because Glenda and my grandfather Adrian are both coming to my parents place for it! so that should be fun.

Oh, and I never posted about my friend Mike.. I bother him a lot, so he’ll probably get mentioned (I think at one point since I’ve had this blog, he said something ridiculous and then told me to post it because he wanted on here) Anyways.. He hungers for hands?

This week.. Sunday I hung out with people from school. Monday there was a meteor shower, which Mike and I tried to watch but it was too cloudy (We even went to the north side, luckily we didn’t get shanked by a hobo.) Tuesday was the school week starting again.. We had to do powerpoint presentations. For drawing we did value drawings with vine charcoal, which I really enjoyed. In art history this week, we learned a lot about Asian art, including stuff about Buddhism which was SUPER interesting and I really enjoyed. For my Creative Process class, I had to subvert a cliche and made this. For design class today, we had to represent a song with a designed image. I will possibly post pictures of mine later, but lets just say I spent 4 hours last night cutting out anatomical hearts out of paper.

Tonight there was an adventure, but that gets its own entry (OMG) so I will save that for the next entry (it is totally worth the wait though)
